Sneads Ferry Pool Communities

Snowy winters and chilly winds leave most people pining for warm spring and summer days. For a lot of people, spring and summer means cooling off in the water whether it be the ocean, a community pool, their private pool, or a little spot along a riverbank. Sneads Ferry residents possess the luxury of sandy beaches within a 15-minute drive, but not everybody loves the beach. It can be a hassle to load up the car, drive there, find parking, and navigate the crowds that end up beating you to the perfect spot.

Residents with community pools don’t have to load the car, drive, park, or deal with crowds. Private and within walking distance, community pools mean residents have less to worry about and more time to relax. Sneads Ferry has many great communities, but not all of them have community pools. Bayshore Marina, Bridgeport and North Shore Country Club deliver excellent homes in Sneads Ferry’s fabulous location and also have gorgeous community pools.

Bayshore Marina

Started in the 1980s with homes built as recently as 2014, Bayshore Marina features a diverse range of single-family homes as well as townhomes. Single-family homes range from about 1,500 to 3,000 square feet with 2 to 4 bedrooms and bathrooms. Larger than most townhomes, Bayshore Marina townhomes measure about 1,700 to 2,400 square feet with 2 to 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The townhomes also have the unique feature of back porches or patios that face the bay where the marina sits.

Each home in the community has deeded access to one of the boat slips in the marina. Boaters can spend their time in the bay area or use the nearby New River Inlet and get out on the Atlantic Ocean. In addition to assigned slips, the marina also has a dedicated ramp if residents need to remove their boats. The community pool overlooks the marina and is maintained by the HOA. Bayshore Marina also has community tennis courts and plenty of green spaces for recreation.

Bayshore Marina goes above and beyond for water lovers. Whether it be the community pool, a short drive to North Topsail Beach, or boating in the bay, residents have their pick of water activities.

Bridgeport

Bridgeport is a new construction community with a great location near the beach. Atlantic Construction began building Bridgeport in 2015 and continues to develop the community today. In business since 1976, Atlantic Construction continually proves its abilities by delivering topnotch homes at affordable prices. They designed the community’s floor plans in the craftsman style, one of the most popular styles right now. Buyers can choose one of the move-in ready homes already constructed or pick a lot and floor plan, which they can customize to suit their needs and wants. Floor plans start around 1,200 square feet but reach as high as 3,000 with 2 to 5 bedrooms and 2 to 4 bathrooms.

The community pool also features a small picnic area, so residents can take a break from the water before jumping back in. Bridgeport’s location off of Old Folkstone Road places residents near several popular attractions. Stump Sound Park has several baseball and multi-purpose fields and is less than 10 minutes away. Residents can find most things they’re looking for at the intersection of Highway 210 and Old Folkstone Road, a popular business area. And, of course, Highway 210 will take residents over the bridge and into North Topsail Beach.

Bridgeport has plenty to offer residents in addition to its community pool. Atlantic Construction gorgeously crafted the community’s homes and built them with meticulous care and workmanship. Bridgeport’s location ensures that residents aren’t far from the beach, popular attractions, or necessary staples. Bridgeport combines the location of beach community living with the amenities and stylish homes of a new construction community.

North Shore Country Club

North Shore Country Club delivers a community pool and much more. Developers built the community around the North Shore Golf Course, one of the more popular courses in the region known for its beauty as well as its difficulty. Nestled along the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway, the course offers gorgeous views in addition to an enjoyable playing environment. Started in 1988, the community has drawn new players and residents each year since then.

North Shore Country Club homes start around 1,400 square feet but can reach as large as 6,000 square feet. However, the average falls near the middle around 3,000 square feet. Bedrooms number between 3 and 5 predominately with 2 to 4 bathrooms. While most homes were built in the 90s and 2000s, buyers can still find new constructions and available lots.

North Shore Country Club’s amenities only amplify the luxury of the community. Aside from its popular golf course, the community has a swimming pool, clubhouse, fitness center, and several tennis courts. And if residents tire of the amenities, the community’s location puts them close to all the popular destinations in the area. Like Bridgeport, the intersection of Highway 210 and Old Folkstone Road is a short drive away. And North Shore Country Club has an even better location to North Topsail Beach. With the Larry Walton Memorial Bridge visible from the community entrance, residents could only be closer if they lived on Topsail Island.

North Shore Country Club’s location makes it a great community, but the impeccable homes and amenities make it a must-visit for anyone searching for their next home.

If the cold weather makes you start daydreaming of warmer months, then you’re not alone. All three of these communities feature great locations with proximity to beach and also have community pools. Warmer weather months are even better when enjoyed at the beach or in the pool.
