Melanie Cameron, Wilmington NC REALTOR

Melanie was a big help to us in selling our house. We were living out of state and Melanie was helpful getting local contractors to do needed repairs. Our house was only listed for one week before we had an offer.

Leah M.

We used Melanie Cameron of the Cameron Team @ Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage realty office for the recent sale of our home.Melanie provided tips on presentation and curb appeal for the ultimate quick sale. The listing advertisement was BLASTED with any and every real estate site, social media, signage tool available. If you didn’t know the house was for sale you were living under a rock. I would highly recommend Melanie and her team!

Melanie's knowledge & experience of the area made the sale of my home go smoothly and quickly. She was always reachable and responded immediately to questions and concerns. Melanie has the ability to professionally handle a business situation expertly in a warm and encouraging way. She is definitely my 'go to' realtor in Wilmington!

Aimee T.

Melanie is a fantastic realtor! I highly recommend using her. If I could have brought her to Texas to help us buy our house here I would have. She's a very competent, intelligent, hard worker. Melanie understood our needs and the market and was able to very effectively market our house. She has put together a wonderful team that was utilized and managed wonderfully by Melanie. I wish all realtors were as easy to work with as Melanie.

Patti M.

After having our house on the market for 4 years during the economic recession, we finally called Melanie. She was going to be our last attempt to sell the house. It was the right choice! She encouraged us and got us back on track. Her office kept us informed on any real estate activity in our area. She checked on us frequently and let us know how much marketing exposure she was giving our house. We even wanted to have a few open houses and she pulled those together for us. She was successful in obtaining an offer and skillfully maneuvered us through the closing. It was a pleasure to work with Melanie and her team. We will without a doubt use her expertise again!

While looking for property in North Carolina I met and used Melanie. She was there 24/7. Sometimes buying property out of state can be very challenging. Melanie made it extremely easy. Knowledgeable of every aspect of the Wilmington area. I have purchased a fair amount of property but never had a better agent. Can’t say enough. The only issue with Melanie is her choice of sport teams??? Maybe not so good!

Jason S.

Honest and realistic in reference to pricing the house you want to sell. Very flexible in working with your schedule when viewing homes. Always provided thorough information on houses my wife and I wanted to view. Overall, an easy and worry free house buying/selling experience!

Patti H.

Melanie was extremely professional and informed about the Wilmington area market. She was very honest and up front and exactly what we wanted in a realtor. We would highly recommend Melanie to all.

Choosing Melanie to guide us through the journey of selling our house, buying property and finding the right builder was the best decision we could have made. Melanie's professionalism, industry knowledge and work ethic is top notch. We had no doubts throughout the process because her attention to detail, her persistence and trustworthiness made us feel confidant that the best decision was always made.I would HIGHLY recommend Melanie if you are about to start the adventure of buying or selling a home. She's the one you want guiding you the entire way!!!!

Having bought 9 homes in four states over the span of a number of years, I can assert that the last two home search and close experiences (both with Melanie) were by far the most pleasant, efficient, and successful of all.I think what sets Melanie and her team apart from the rest is their focus, not on pursuing a transaction, but on acting in the best interests of the their clients. Melanie relishes relationships and thinks long-term – basic tenets for a business that relies primarily on referrals. She is real estate savvy and well-connected with a network of support professionals and crafts, and is as eager and available to help people after the sale as she is before the sale.In addition to her skill, knowledge and experience, Melanie is fun to work with. She’s a pleasant, but forceful, advocate for her customers. On the occasional instance when our schedules didn’t mesh, Melanie’s team has stepped in and our real estate experience didn’t miss a beat. Her values and attitudes are instilled in her team. All in all, the Cameron Team is the best I’ve ever worked with and I believe it’s the best anyone will find in Wilmington and its environs.

My husband I worked with Melanie to find our new home. We had very specific criteria that we wanted and Melanie understood that and made our search so much easier. We looked at several homes with Melanie and she was always able to work with us on our schedule and made everything really convenient. When we finally found our home we all knew that it was the perfect house and both Melanie and Robin made the purchase of the house so straightforward and easy. We are both very pleased with the work ethic and friendliness of Melanie and the whole Cameron Team.

Rosemary L.

HI Melanie – I am writing to thank you and your assistant, Robin, for all your help with the sale of my house. During these tough economic times, I wasn’t sure how long it would take to sell my home. However, you did it! There were a lot of issues with finances, taxes, etc that were increasingly frustrating along the way, yet you remained patient and positive with each new ‘bump in the road.’ Your true professionalism and kindness throughout the entire process is greatly appreciated and will be passed on to anyone everyone I know looking to buy or sell.Lastly, I want you to know that my family and I have a newfound peace with the sale of our old home behind us. We are now afforded the opportunities to focus on the little things in life that really matter. –This accomplishment is what I truly thank you for…

Sandy and Al D.

In our experience with a minimum of 5 other Realtors in Wilmington over the past 15 years, Melanie greatly surpasses all of them in communication with us.

Doris

We have lived here 7 years. Melanie is the best. We have never had a smoother sale and closing. Our home sold in less than 30 days. We would definitely recommend Melanie and her Team.

Tristan K.

The Cameron Team was exceptional, warm, friendly and attentive to our needs! Thanks!

Brad C.

Melanie and her assistant were great to work with. Very personable, knowledgeable and responsive. I will recommend them to friends.

Andrew D.

Melanie and her assistant are TERRIFIC. The home selling process was so efficient and smooth that I barely had time to think about it. In fact, before I realized it, my place sold. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Brenda M.

Melanie has been fabulous! She is always accessible, professional, and extremely helpful. She handles every need promptly. Her assistant is also great to work with. I would not go anywhere else!

Phyllis R.

Melanie is excellent on ALL areas but especially good at negotiations, is considerate and gives timely information. Her assistant is very supportive and outgoing and outstanding at protecting the interest of the client and explaining the closing process.

Ellen P.

I am so pleased with the professional service that I received from Melanie and her team. They worked so faithfully to sell my home and hold my hand during the process! They showed the home multiple times each week and kept me updated on the activity without fail. As hiccups came along during the final phases of the sale, Melanie and her team handled everything with professionalism and kindness. Melanie, Robyn, and the rest of the Cameron Team were an answer to prayer and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for a job well-done!

James Williams

I absolutely "APPRECIATE" the level of professionalism Mrs. Cameron has and the empathy for me in having to sell my home, as I said on my FB page, "I was treated as a friend, not a client"...I whole heartedly recommend the services of The Cameron Team in all situations of buying or selling a home. I can't thank her enough for the guidance along each step of the selling process, I give 10 stars to her and the Team.

By pure luck with a Google search of the top real estate agents in the area, I had the great fortune to engage Melanie Cameron to sell my Caswell Beach condo. Within five minutes of meeting Melanie, I knew I had a winner. Her professionalism, organization and enthusiasm were evident and remained constant throughout the entire process. When the market changed a bit shortly after the listing, her tenacity was remarkable and I never had to worry because I had such a good cheerleader encouraging me at all times. She kept in constant contact and kept me informed at every step of the way. You can tell when people love their work and Melanie is a prime example of this. She made the sale go smoothly for me and I would recommend her wholeheartedly. I walked away thinking I had a great agent and also had made a new friend!

Our family turned to Melanie, Tammy Suggs, and the Cameron Team when the time came to sell our parents' house--a home they'd enjoyed and lovingly maintained over the years. From the moment that Melanie and Tammy first met with me, I knew that I'd made a wise decision in choosing real estate professionals whose knowledge and competence were topped only by their kindness and compassion.Melanie explained the listing process thoroughly, was candid in providing information about the market that helped our family set expectations that were both realistic and optimistic, and then she EXCEEDED them! Though the house was under contract quickly, Melanie continued to support us through the next phase, going the extra mile to make sure that our family was able to enjoy the holidays ahead of a New Year's closing.Thank you, Melanie, for your attention to detail (even your "For Sale" sign was in great condition and mounted neatly!) and, most of all, for caring about the happiness of your clients throughout the process of buying and selling a home. Working with you was a joy!

Linda Akat

I just sold my home and had the pleasure of working with Melanie Cameron. She made what could have been a stressful and difficult process as seamless as possible. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. She offered her opinion when I asked and helped me consider things I hadn't thought of. During negotiations she always had my best interest at heart. I feel she was with me every step of the way. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. Thank you Melanie Cameron!

Geraldine Cuevas

I can’t praise Melanie Cameron and her team enough. I was blown away by the level of professionalism, kindness, concern they possess. Melanie and her team treat you more like family, than a client. This is one lady that goes above and beyond for her client. She put my home on the market and in less than a week, I had an offer, and it sold. Melanie’s marketing skills are off the chart. Melanie always keeps you updated on everything that is going on. If you are thinking of listing your home, give Melanie and her team a call. Believe me, you will not regret it. In my opinion, they are the best of the best! I don’t usually write reviews. I have bought and sold homes from California to NC, and never wrote a review. After my experience with Melanie, I found a true gem of a real estate agent, and wanted to share. A big THANK YOU to Melanie and her entire team!

Kristen Kaplan

Melanie was exceptionally patient with us, listening to our evolving needs and putting our preferences first. During the contracting process she chased down answers that in the past realtors left us to handle. It really felt like white glove service throughout. She continued to support us even after the house closing. We can't say enough positive things about her.

Elizabeth Stroop

I would give Melanie and her team more stars than five! Melanie is a consummate professional with great people skills, which is a total winning combination. She was deeply knowledgeable about the ever-changing real estate market, savvy about selling strategies, and helpful and dependable about attending to the myriad details involved in selling a house. Melanie went the extra mile for us. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Terri Contaxis

We were moving from out of state and we were referred to Melanie. What an incredible referral. She reviewed what we were interested in and what our needs were then set out a plan to review properties. That was just the beginning. Her unwavering negotiating skills and understanding of the market place got us into a house much sooner then expected, especially during this difficult market for buyers. And we love the house, it was what we were looking for. She also was a great resource for services in the area we could trust. She's an incredible agent and more importantly a wonderful person as well. Not enough stars for how we feel about her work.

Kate Cathey

As an out-of-state buyer in a challenging market, I was in the best possible hands with Melanie Cameron. I've bought and sold several homes and this was by far the best experience. Her extensive experience as a real estate professional and knowledge of the area plus her willingness to go above and beyond with efficiency and a smile was the reason I was able to close on a home in the area smoothly and with as little stress as possible. I would. not hesitate to use her services again in the future, and I highly recommend her.

Steve Jackson

My siblings and I inherited a lot in “Bluff on the Cape Fear”. Melanie was extremely easy to work with. Very prompt in replies and phone calls. She recommended a price and we were able to get our lot sold quickly and at market price. She made everything very accommodating while even dealing with the holidays. Thank you Melanie for making it easy to do business with you! ***We would HIGHLY recommend Melanie******

Bebe Brown

I can’t speak highly enough of Melanie and the Cameron Team. Their professionalism, knowledge and hard work were greatly appreciated. Melanie is exceptionally good at her job and guided us through the entire process. We would not hesitate to recommend her Team to anyone in need of realtor services.

Randall and India Cothren

We were selling our house and Melanie was referred to as by a friend. We think that the Cameron team worked for us better than anybody we've ever known. In business nothing's perfect and we had a situation where things begin to be a little harder than I wanted them to be. I contacted Melanie and she said you know I'm sorry it happened but I'm going to take full responsibility and I'll get right on it.Instantly the glitch was solved and she made everything seem easy so I sent her this note.Thank you Melanie. I know you handle a lot of stuff but every contact you and I need you, you act like I'm the only person in the world which feels amazing. This is my sentiment so if you choose to use the Cameron team I hope you will have as great of an experience as we did.

We have used Melanie and her team for five transactions now (three purchases and two sales). We could and would never buy or sell without her!Her knowledge of the Wilmington market is invaluable. Her excitement for her work and how much she cares for her clients makes you feel like you have a true partner when buying and selling. And her integrity and professionalism is in everything she does. She has connections to everyone - other realtors, mortgage brokers, inspectors, etc. that make your buying or selling process so much easier. Our last sale was marketed in such a professional and thorough way that we had multiple offers, all over asking. And our purchase was found before it even hit the market. She went above and beyond, even reaching out to the sellers before they were listed. In this market, I would never dream of entering it without Melanie by my side. It is a roller coaster and on the days when I was worried, I reminded myself that Melanie was in this with us!She is active on social media as well and her Monday market updates are invaluable. And her Friday FAQs are very helpful no matter where you are in the buying and selling process. Buying and selling a home is one of, if not the largest, financial decisions you will make, and I highly recommend Melanie and her team to guide you through the process!
